También se dice a menudo brothers and/or sisters, por ejemplo, Do you have any brothers or sisters? (¿Tienes hermanos?). How many brothers and sisters do you have?

That’s** my cousin and his wife.

Our cousin and her husband have a house in the south of France.

En cambio, diríamos Those are my cousins.

2. Other relatives and family members

Do you get on with your half-sister?

*To get along well with quiere decir llevarse bien con alguien. En preguntas solemos omitir well: Do you get along with your sister-in-law? (¿Te llevas bien con tu cuñada?). En inglés británico, además de to get along, también se dice to get on: I get on well with my sister-in-law / Do you get on with your sister-in-law?.

** ¡Ojo!

*Con estos tres adjetivos empleamos el verbo to be pero también to get como equivalente de …se: to get engaged (prometerse), to get married (casarse), to get divorced (divorciarse). Separarse, en cambio, es simplemente to separate: They separated a year ago (Se separaron hace un año).
